SPT-3G detector

SPT-3G detector pixels, Each pixel measures X and Y polarization at three different frequencies -- 95, 150, and 220 GHz - using six superconducting bolometers. The SPT-3G focal plane will be deployed during the 2016-17 Austral Summer and contain a total of 16,400 detectors.

South Pole Telescope, SPT

The South Pole Telescope (SPT) is a 10-meter telescope at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole research station. Taking advantage of the exceptionally clear, dry, and stable atmosphere at the South Pole, the SPT will map large areas of the sky with high sensitivity at millimeter and sub-millimeter wavelengths.

Keck Array

Keck Array is a telescope in the BICEP/BICEP2/Keck Array program of experiments. It consists of multiple receivers very similar to BICEP2 placed on the telescope mount originally built for the DASI experiment.
